numiknow® was created by educators and social entrepreneurs who recognised that many learners, young people and adults struggle with basic mathematics.
By turning dominoes into a compendium of games, we make mathematical proficiency fun, social and accessible to all ages and communities. Dominoes are readily available, long-lasting, multi-purposed and require no power or screens, making them ideal for owning a set, classrooms and rural settings.
How it works
Each game in the numiknow® collection focuses on specific skills such as counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions or problem-solving. Players match numbered tiles, count pips and make quick mental calculations.
Variations like “splita 7” challenge players to practise operations without calculators. The games are linked to developmental level so that preschool children, primary learners, teens, families and corporate teams can all become players!
